 From this project I learned how to make my own website and how to convert files into pictures.I also learned about the possible career choices I have. I really liked learning about the different careers that I was interested in. I didn't like how long everything took to do and how much there was to do. In my opinion I felt like i was as honest as I could be when answering my skills inventory questions. The way I see myself I think it was an honest reflection of myself, someone else might see me differently though. I want to help people and be in medicine. After learning about being a cardiologist I think i will change my choice.

This presentation shows the affects of using drugs. Drugs can ruin your life and you can get easily addicted to them. If you use drugs during pregnancy there are pictures showing what affects can happen to babies. There are physical and mental disabilities that occur to children with mothers that used drugs.

Online Experience A Reflection

                In this class I have learned so much about computers that I never even knew existed. My world on the internet included mostly FaceBook, Google, and maybe a couple other sites. After Online A I know so much more now; like how important technology is. Technology is important because it helps you in so many ways and allows us to do more things. Over the last 5 years technology has changed dramatically. It is always growing and always changing so something new and better will almost always be around the corner. 5 years from now it will be way different, just because of new discoveries being made every day. For school I usually use things like Word, Power Point, and the Internet. For the most part it is all stuff that needs to be typed out or researched. For myself I pretty much only use FaceBook, Google, and my email. If I ever need to blog about something I know how; also I use delicious occasionally when I have to remember one or more websites when I’m on a different computer. I am going to be using the internet for the rest of my life and I’m always going to know how to use netiquette and how to be safe online. Now I know what to avoid, who to avoid, and who to trust. The most practical would defiantly be online safety; even if you don’t always need to use the internet for important school or work related things you will always need to know how to be safe online. Honestly I will probably never use a podcast. I didn’t really like talking into a microphone; it felt like I was talking to myself. My favorite thing to create was the zoo PowerPoint. I like animals and I liked learning about all the different zoos that are out there. In this class I learned how helpful blogs and delicious are.

Facebook's World Takeover

I read an article about Facebook. They talk about how Facebook is the number one social network in about half the world. There are some countries sticking to their local social networks, but for the most part countries are using Facebook. Mark Zukerberg; who created Facebook as 650 million friends and counting. Facebook is continuing to grow and become more popular.

Zoo Review

The name of my zoo was ZooAmerica, it is in Hershey PA. I chose this zoo because I really liked all the different animals. When I was younger I went to Hershey Park and the zoo and park are connected so I wanted to learn more about the zoo. ZooAmerica's website was really helpful, there was a tab for each topic I needed to find information about except what they do about donations. Their website had pictures for each animal. For pictures of the zoo itself and of other things that had to do with the zoo I had to look them up. I didn't even know you could do a virtual zoo tour so I did not try and find it. I thought the best part about the website was seeing each individual animal. Some of them were really different, ones I've never heard of. I think they should change their home page. When you first go to it its not very exciting and make you want to learn more.

In ten years...

In ten years I will be 25, probably only recently getting out of college. I want to go to the University of Michigan for the nursing program. By the time I am 25 I am hoping to be out of college and have a job. I want to be a nurse at a hospital. Also, I want to have a boyfriend by then because I don't want to get married old. When I am around 27 I want to have my first kid. I want two boys and one girl. I want to live near my family so my children are close to everyone, because thats how it was for me growing up and I loved it. I want two dogs, a big one and a little one. I have a chinchilla right now and they live for about 20-25 years so I will probably still have him. I will be happy if I just middle class, with a nice house and alright cars. I don't need a huge house and really nice cars.
